Jarvis Harris

Jarvis has been with R. Steve Bowden and Associates since March of 2000.  Prior to working with R. Steve Bowden & Associates, Jarvis was an Agency Legal Specialist for the North Carolina Industrial Commission. Jarvis is a proud graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where he received his BA with Honors in Political Science and his Juris Doctorate. Jarvis has been involved with many civic organizations in Guilford County including the Guilford Education Alliance, as a founding board member and the Board Chair, the Boys and Girls Clubs of Greensboro Advisory Council and the Board of Trustees of Guilford Technical Community College where he has served for over ten years as a board member, Board Vice Chairman and the first African-American male Board Chair in the history of the college.  Jarvis was also the youngest Board Chair in the history of GTCC. 

Jarvis is an avid sports fan and coaches for the Greensboro Lady Gaters.  Jarvis’ greatest accomplishment is being the proud the father of two wonderful daughters who are outstanding student-athletes.
